Mason Pippenger is an award-winning writer, photographer, and digital/editorial creator based in Chicago. In his work, he explores the sometimes murky waters of race, sexuality, culture, and humanity.
Mason graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and is a recipient of the 2025 Rapbrary Future Archive Award from Roy Kinsey and The Poetry Foundation. He is also a contributor of A Gay Great Book: Stories of Growth, Belonging, and Other Queer Possibilities, published by Abrams Books.
